The National Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has taken action against illegal call centers in Islamabad.

According to the NCCIA spokesperson, raids were conducted on 3 call centers located in Sector E11 and G10 of Islamabad.

According to NCCIA officials, 212 people, including Chinese and Pakistani men and women, have been detained in the operation.

The special team searched various parts of the call centre, seizing computers, laptops, mobile phones and other digital evidence.

According to the authorities, investigations are ongoing on various aspects including the possible international links of the detained persons, the authorities have declared the plaza as a sub-jail and kept all the detained persons in the plaza.

According to the spokesman, 306 mobile phones, 383 computers, CPU, 299 monitors, laptops have been recovered in the operations. The network is linked to India and Brazil.
