Police and security forces have completed the operation against the terrorists after the Kohat Police Lines blast.

According to CPO, Additional IGC TD, Regional Police Officer and DPO Kohat led the operation, 8 terrorists were killed in retaliatory action.

Elite force commandos, CTD teams and security forces have cleared important parts of the building, IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfikar Hameed and other officials were also present at the spot during the operation.

IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed has said that the law enforcement agencies achieved success after the night-long operation, police, CTD and security forces bravely fought the terrorists.

It should be noted that last day terrorists attacked the police line mosque in Kohat.

In the suicide attack, 16 policemen and 6 civilians were martyred and 103 people were injured.

According to the police, 73 officials and 30 civilians are among the injured.
