Federal Minister for Law and Human Rights Prime Minister Nazir Tarar took notice of the murder of Christian woman Saba Mehboob in Rawalpindi.

The Federal Minister has sent a letter to IG Punjab regarding the incident.

Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said in the post that a complete and comprehensive investigation of the incident should be ensured according to the law, investigations should be done on a priority basis for the delivery of justice.

He also asked for a comprehensive report on the progress of the incident. According to the Ministry of Human Rights, the murder of Saba Mehboob took place in Dhok Rata area of ​​Rawalpindi.

An FIR related to the incident has been registered at Ratta Amaral police station, Rawalpindi. The FIR was registered on September 3 on the complaint of the woman’s step-brother.
