Khurram Shahzad, adviser to the Federal Ministry of Finance, said that significant progress has been made in housing finance under the Prime Minister’s Apna Ghar program, financing of 351 billion 30 crore rupees has been approved under the program.

In a statement, the adviser to the Ministry of Finance said that 60 thousand 349 cases have been approved for affordable houses, while loans worth Rs 51 billion 13 crore have been issued under the Apna Ghar programme.

Advisor to the Ministry of Finance Khurram Shahzad said that housing loans have been provided to 9,717 families so far, the approval rate of the housing finance program has reached 38.5 percent.

Khurram Shahzad said that the average loan volume in Apna Ghar program is 52 lakh 60 thousand rupees. Housing financing approvals rose by over 12 percent in a week.

According to the advisor to the Ministry of Finance, housing finance up to Rs 1 crore is being provided to eligible families.
