The 14th SAARC ENT Congress in Sri Lanka was attended by otolaryngologists from South Asian countries and discussed the treatment and prevention of various diseases.

In the Congress, information was shared about similar diseases in the region, their treatment and prevention measures were also reviewed.

55 doctors from Pakistan and doctors from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan also participated in the congress.

The Pakistani delegation was led by Professor Iqbal Khayani and General Secretary Professor Sami Qureshi.

Prof. Iqbal Khayani emphasized on exchange of research and cooperation among ENT specialists.

Pakistani doctors presented their research talks which were well appreciated by foreign experts.
