Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and French counterpart Jean-Novel Barro discussed diplomatic relations and the regional and international situation during the meeting.

According to the Iranian media, the Iranian Foreign Minister says that Iran wants relations based on mutual respect and interests with all countries, including France.

He has said that Iran will act decisively to protect its interests.

The Iranian Foreign Minister criticized France’s interventionist attitude towards Iran and stressed the French Embassy’s respect for Iranian laws and regulations.

Abbas Araqchi has called the French position on the American and Israeli aggression against Iran unacceptable.
