According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, the by-election on Gujranwala seat NA-77 will be held on November 8.

The Election Commission of Islamabad has released the schedule for NA-77 by-election. According to the declaration, nomination papers can be submitted from September 28 to 30.

According to Election Commission, the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done till October 5. Appeals will be decided by October 15 and papers can be withdrawn by October 17.

According to the declaration, the election symbols for the NA-77 by-election will be allotted on October 19. The seat of NA-77 was vacant due to the death of Mahmood Bashir Vark.
