The US has approved the sale of 48 modern F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia.

The deal to sell $24.3 billion of aircraft to Saudi Arabia will require congressional approval.

The F-35 with stealth technology is considered to be the most advanced fighter jet in the world, Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has these planes.
