Veteran Bollywood actor Rahul Roy, who was also the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss, suffered a brain stroke in 2020 after which he tried to restart his career while facing financial difficulties.

Talking about this, the 58-year-old actor said that sometimes he earns 2 to 4 lakh rupees by dancing in wedding ceremonies.

In a recent interview, Rahul said that it was difficult for him to get work after the stroke, so he accepted every opportunity to cope with the situation.

On this occasion, he also mentioned the difficulties that he is facing at the moment. Including a legal dispute with his own brother over Rs 30 lakh. Apart from this, he also talked about his financial situation after the divorce. According to Rahul, during the separation, he had transferred his assets to his wife’s name, after which he is now trying to improve the financial situation again.

“I am trying to re-establish my empire at the age of 60,” he said. Responding to criticism over his viral videos of dancing at weddings, he said, “I have expenses and I need money.” The stroke had a profound effect on his career and most of the last few years were spent in recovery, which prevented him from doing as much as he wanted to do.

“I am very happy to be back on set and face the camera again,” he said. I am extremely grateful to those who are trusting me. During my 37-year journey in films, I believe I have done some good work and now I hope to do more.

Rahul clarified that no one has left him and he has everything. A simple lifestyle is his personal preference. They prefer to wear simple clothes, do not have bodyguards and occasionally travel in auto-rickshaws as it is a convenient and fast means of transport.

This statement came after several reels made by Rahul with content creator Dr Vinita Ghadge Desai went viral on social media. One of these videos used the song Tere Dar Peh Sanam from the film Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Ai, in which Rahul starred opposite Pooja Bhatt.

While some social media users expressed concern over these videos, some criticized the clips.
