The new Executive Director of PIMS Islamabad, Dr. Muhammad Salman took charge of his post.

As soon as he assumed office, he convened a meeting of the heads of various departments of PIMS, which was attended by PIMS management officers and directors.

Talking to the media, Executive Director PIMS Dr. Muhammad Salman said that efforts will be made to solve all the problems in the light of the report of the inquiry committee.

He said that steps will be taken to ensure the safety of patients and provide them with better health facilities, while providing better and faster medical facilities to patients is the need of the hour.

Dr. Salman said that there have been 2 recent incidents in Pims, for the prevention of which efforts will be made to devise effective strategies.

He said that there is a heavy load of patients in PIMs, more steps will be taken to provide better medical facilities to the large number of patients.

He says that the Ministry of Health will also be discussed with regard to improving facilities for patients.
