KARACHI (Tahir Aziz. Staff Reporter) Director General of KDA Zainul Abedin Ansari started removing the officers who performed poorly in the institution with his appointment. The most complaints of the citizens were about the State and Enforcement Department because the department failed to vacate the plots auctioned at different times along with saving the plots of the institution and allottees from seizure, due to which KDA lost billions of rupees in revenue. According to the sources, when the DG inquired about the encroachments on the plots on Wednesday, Additional Director State and Enforcement Department Arif Ahmed, during the meeting, he could not explain the reason for this failure. It was clear that Arif Ahmed alias Chammia, despite being a junior, was considered to be a very close and powerful officer of former DG Asif John Siddiqui. Senior Director Zain Shah on the orders of the DG of CROSS evacuated 5 shops with a heavy police force on Wednesday itself. Sources said that officers from other departments are likely to be removed in the next few days.
