LPG price has been increased

The price of LPG has been increased in the country. Ogra has released the notification.

According to the notification of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), the price of LPG has been increased by Rs 4 33 paise per kg from September 1.

According to the notification, 11.8 kg domestic cylinder of LPG has become expensive by Rs 51 17 paise to Rs 3 thousand 52 9 paise.

According to the available price data, the producer price of LPG is fixed at Rs 2 lakh 17 thousand 351 52 paise per metric ton, while the price of 11.8 kg cylinder is Rs 2 thousand 564 75 paise.

A margin of Rs 35,000 per metric tonne has been added for marketing, distribution and transportation of LPG, which works out to Rs 413 for an 11.8 kg cylinder.

According to the details, the marketing margin is 17 thousand rupees, the distribution margin is 10 thousand rupees and the transportation charges are 8 thousand rupees per metric ton.

An additional 6,300 rupees per metric ton will be added in the form of 18% GST on these items, while 74 rupees 34 paise will be added to the 11.8 kg cylinder.

Thus, after adding the producer price, marketing, distribution, transportation and related GST, the total consumer price of 11.8 kg LPG cylinder is Rs. 3 thousand 52 9 paise, while the price per metric ton is Rs.
