National cricketer Mohammad Rizwan challenged the summoning of NCCIA in Lahore High Court. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Alia Neelam will hear the application today.

Mohammad Rizwan has raised questions on the jurisdiction of the NCCIA and the nature of the investigation in the petition.

In the petition, Mohammad Rizwan took the stand that the NCCIA has not made any specific allegations regarding the summons, as per the NCCIA notice, the inquiry is ongoing into online betting and gambling.

According to Mohammad Rizwan, during the appearance, I was repeatedly asked about the details of the allegations of illegal activities, but none of my questions were answered during the appearance.

Mohammad Rizwan took the stand in the petition that why the NCCIA is investigating an unknown allegation, requesting the court to stay the proceedings of the NCCIA till the final decision.

It should be noted that NCCIA had given the questionnaire to Muhammad Rizwan and Imamul Haq, both players had to submit the answers to the questionnaire by September 15, Imamul Haq has submitted the answers to the questionnaire.
