Negotiations between the government and petroleum dealers on the fuel relief package were successful.

According to the Petrol Pumps Dealers Association, petroleum dealers have started implementing the fuel relief package.

On the other hand, the negotiations between the government and the All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association in Rawalpindi were also successful.

Vice Chairman All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association Nauman Butt while talking to the media said that the concerns of petrol pump owners have been removed.

He said that there was no objection to the fuel subsidy scheme, there were reservations about the payment method. After negotiations with the government, reservations of petrol pump owners over the fuel subsidy scheme were over.

He said that the government assured to return the subsidy amount within 24 hours. The subsidy will be paid through the State Bank, the money has reached the State Bank. If the subsidy amount is not returned within 24 hours, the government will solve the problem together with the association.
