Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that after taking oath, he did not give any wrong order to any police officer, did not give any order to target any police officer for political or personal revenge, did not give any order to file false FIR.

Addressing a meeting on law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Chief Minister said that for 22 years, the police and the people have been fighting terrorism continuously, with the sacrifices of the police and the people, peace was established from 2018 to 2022. Unless there is peace, development and prosperity cannot come.

He said that after taking over the government, unprecedented funds were provided for the police. Last year, 35 billion rupees were given to the police in addition to the annual budget. This year, the budget of the police was increased from 80 billion to 190 billion rupees.

Sohail Afridi said that there is peace in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other areas due to the sacrifices of the KP police and people, police martyrs have also provided funds for increasing the package and modern equipment, modern APCs were prepared and given to Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police did not get modern APCs.

Chief Minister KP said that we are not going to do any armed struggle or invasion, we are going to have a peaceful protest, ask those who stop the peaceful protest to remove the right to assembly clause from the constitution, as long as the right to assembly is there in the constitution, we will protest.
