In the preliminary investigation into the case of cricketer Muhammad Rizwan and Imamul Haq, nothing remarkable has been revealed from the mobile phones.

Muhammad Rizwan and Imamul Haq were summoned by the NCCIA on a suo motu notice and the mobile phones of both the players were taken into custody for forensics.

According to the sources, the messages and contacts in the mobile phones were examined, further forensic analysis is underway at the Islamabad headquarters, the forensics is tracking financial transactions and potential transactions.

Sources say that social media information related to dressing room leaks is also part of the investigation, the report will be sent to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, PCB will take a decision about the players in the light of the report.

According to the sources, Imam-ul-Haq and Rizwan were interrogated, they were not given a formal questionnaire.
