Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have abolished visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting and signed the agreement in New York.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that this signing is a source of happiness for him. This important step will further facilitate high-level contacts and institutional exchanges between the two countries.

He said that this process will increase the strategic partnership of the two brotherly countries in all areas of mutual interest.
