Hobground Edgbaston in County Warwickshire hosts the third and final Test of the ICC Test Championship between the cricket teams of England and Pakistan.

Interestingly, none of the players in the current Pakistan team have played a Test match against England on this ground.

Captain Babar Azam 65, Shaun Masood 49 and fast bowler Mohammad Abbas have 32 Tests for Pakistan, and have visited England more than once, but this will be their first Test match at Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

Eight Tests have been played so far between Pakistan and England at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham, where the English team has an absolute advantage against Pakistan.

Pakistan played its first Test on this ground in May-June 1962 under the leadership of Javed Barki, where the English team led by Ted Dexter defeated Pakistan by an innings and 24 runs.

In June 1971, under the leadership of Ikhta Alam, England and Pakistan were drawing a Test. Pakistan scored 608 runs for 7 wickets in 195 overs in the first innings.
