Petrol pump owners refused to supply petrol under the government relief scheme.

Chairman of All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association Humayun Khan has demanded an increase in dealers’ margin.

He said that he did not know about the Rs 100 subsidy package on petrol.

Vice Chairman Anwar Kamal has said that there are reservations on the methodology of the relief scheme, dealers were not consulted in the preparation of the scheme.

He further said that how will the government pay the amount of cheap petrol to the dealers? It’s been 3 days, contacting the government, no response.

The vice-chairman also said that dues of billions of rupees of oil marketing companies are already pending, it is not feasible to put the financial burden of the relief scheme on the dealers.
