Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed to ensure smooth flow of traffic on connecting roads and bridges during rains.

NDMA Chairman Lt. Gen. Inam Haider Malik met the Prime Minister and briefed him on the advance arrangements to deal with the possible flood situation.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister directed the people to use all resources to provide all possible assistance and relief and asked that links should be increased with the departments related to the delivery of relief goods.

The Prime Minister also directed the NDMA to communicate effectively with the provincial bodies and PDMAs.

Chairman NDMA said that the relevant organizations are monitoring the monsoon season in a better way with effective measures, in view of the emergency weather situation, all the relevant organizations are ready for rescue and relief.
