The State Bank of Pakistan has said that the rumors about the last date for the exchange of Rs 10 currency notes are baseless and contrary to facts.

In a statement issued from Karachi, Bank Daulat Pakistan said that the Federal Cabinet is considering the proposal of the State Bank to introduce a series of bank notes.

The State Bank statement added that no decision has been taken to replace or discontinue currency notes of any denomination.
