The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baqaei, says that Saudi Arabia has insisted on Iran and the Gulf countries not meeting in Oman.

Addressing a news conference in Tehran, he said that only Israel is winning in the tension between Iran and the Gulf countries.

He says that the US and Israel committed war crimes by starting a war against Iran in February, and thousands of civilians were martyred in this war.

Speaking to the media, Ismail Baqaei also omitted the names of several Iranians killed in the airstrikes, including children who were killed during an attack on a football ground.

He said that the American Zionist enemy used cluster bombs during the attacks, which is a clear violation of all human standards and values.

Attack on Iranian ship, Pakistani citizens are also among the injured

Ismail Baqai said in a conversation with journalists that the US attacked an Iranian merchant ship near the Iranian coast of Hingam, as a result of which one person was killed, while many people, including two Pakistanis, were injured.

He said that the persons injured in the attack were working on the ship. The US and Israel are constantly targeting security in the Persian Gulf.

Iran has no role in the recent operations of the Houthis

The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that Iran does not interfere in the affairs of Yemen and we have nothing to do with what is happening in Yemen.

He said that many countries are trying to create differences between Iran and other countries in the region by taking advantage of the ongoing events in Yemen.

The policy regarding the Strait of Hormuz will not be dictated by external forces

Ismail Baqaei has said that Oman and Iran have jointly decided to adopt a responsible strategy regarding the management of the Strait of Hormuz.

He said that today’s scheduled meeting with the officials of the Gulf countries in Muscat was an opportunity to clarify the importance of these decisions, however, due to the events in Yemen, this meeting was cancelled.

Ismail Baqaei says that if this meeting was held, it would have been a very suitable opportunity to discuss a new policy. I don’t think that any responsible country will accept in any way, way or form that a policy is imposed or pressured on it by external forces.

Reports of nuclear activities in Koh Klang are false

The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied the nuclear activities in Peak X Mountain and said that the US claims in this regard are baseless.

Baqai said that it cannot be claimed that there are nuclear facilities inside Peak X Mountain, adding that the reports are part of a media and psychological war waged by Washington.
