ISLAMABAD (Rana Ghulam Qadir/News Reporter) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Al-Dakhtiyan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session and discussed important issues including the Makkah Defense Agreement, Pakistan-Iran relations and the situation in the region. On this occasion, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Tariq Fatemi and Abbas Araqchi were also present. He stressed the need for reduction and continuous diplomatic contacts. After the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said that there was a detailed and good discussion with the Iranian leadership on the situation in the region. Civil and military leadership are making joint efforts to strengthen the country’s economy and improve diplomatic relations. Allah is blessing the Pakistani leadership’s mutual consultation and efforts to strengthen the economy. In addition, Shahbaz Sharif also met with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Bangladeshi counterpart Tariq Rehman on the sidelines of the United Nations meeting. has said that GSP Plus is important for economic development, creating employment opportunities and promoting trade with the European Union. And delegations of businessmen and professionals from different fields met while the Prime Minister said that the talented Pakistani youth living abroad are the pride of the entire nation, including me.
