Karachi (Staff Reporter) In Sindh, male literacy rate is 68% while female literacy rate is 47%, the literacy rate among rural women is very low at 27.52%. More than 4,800,000 girls between the ages of five and 16 are still out of school, the participation of women in the workforce has increased from 43.8 percent to 46.2 percent, the number of employed women has increased from 2.48 million to 3.32 million.
