The Saudi Civil Defense has issued an alert this morning in view of the possible threat in the capital Riyadh, an alert has also been issued for Al-Kharj.

According to the news agency, these measures were taken in the context of an increase in attacks by the Houthi group, but the alert was later withdrawn.

Earlier on Friday night, danger warning was issued in the cities of Jeddah, Taif and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia.

A warning was also issued for Al-Ula, Khamis Mushit, Jazan, Abha and Farsan, but after some time the warning was withdrawn by the Saudi Civil Defense.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior has instructed citizens and residents to verify messages or information on social media and other platforms before sharing them, saying not to forward information that has not been verified to be correct.
