Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced to take out street movement in Lahore this evening.

In a video message from Lahore, Sohail Afridi said that people came out on the streets in large numbers yesterday without any call, the Punjab Police blocked the roads by erecting barriers.

He said that we are in Lahore, we will leave for the street movement at 5 pm. The lights were switched off where we were going.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa further said that petrol pumps were closed, vehicles were stopped from giving petrol, tents were pulled down from the place of stay, workers were arrested.

He said that the Punjab Police arrested the workers and put them in the prisoner van.

Sohail Afridi also said that I was dragged around the streets of Lahore for 15 minutes without security, left in the middle of the road, it was a big security risk.

He said that I am not a security threat but a security threat, the Punjab Police has been politicized and poisoned.
