Israeli Minister of Culture Miki Zohar called the Israeli directors of the documentary film Naza, made on the massacre of Palestinians, traitors.

According to foreign media reports, Miki Zohar has said that filmmakers Yuval Avraham and Rachel Zor will take action to revoke their Israeli citizenship.

Posting on social media website X, the Israeli culture minister described the film’s success as surprising and the documentary as disgusting.

He accused the filmmakers of harming their country to gain acclaim abroad, which amounts to treason.

The Israeli minister said that this is the reason why I led important reforms in the cinema sector, so that Israeli citizens do not have to pay from their own pockets for the damage caused by Israeli military personnel and the State of Israel.

Miki Zohar said that as the Minister of Culture, I will take action to immediately revoke the Israeli citizenship of these reprehensible filmmakers for the crime of treason.

It should be noted that the documentary ‘Naza’, which won the Special Jury Award at the Venice Film Festival, examines the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, while it also includes the testimonies of Israeli soldiers and intelligence officers.

This documentary about the deaths of Gazan civilians received a 25-minute standing ovation during its screening at the Venice Film Festival.
