Guy Ritchie brings his fast-talking, chaotic energy to World War II in this fun, action-packed historical film that will be the perfect companion viewing if you’re nearing the end of your immersion in the war. Gentlemen Season 2. Henry Cavill (with a really cool mustache) leads a rogue band of military misfits on a top-secret, highly illegal mission to sabotage German submarines. Loosely based on recently declassified true events, the film is an absolute blast from start to finish. Coming to Netflix: Friday
If you need a feel-good, laugh-out-loud comedy to start your weekend, look no further. The film is directed by Lena Khan and co-written by comedian Hasan Minhaj. This vibrant film follows two childhood best friends who join UCLA’s competitive Bollywood Fusion dance team. They soon discover that the road to the US Championship has been tumultuous, stressful, and unexpectedly brutal. Starring Matri Ramakrishnan (I’ve never done that before), Priyanka Kedia, and Minhaj himself, this Netflix original show is packed with stunning choreography and a lot of heart.
