US President Donald Trump has denied that several US military aircraft were damaged as a result of Iranian strikes in Jordan.

While talking about the Iranian attacks on the military facility located in Jordan, Trump said that there was no damage, there is not even an iota of truth in the reports of damage to the American airbase in Jordan.

Keep in mind that Trump’s statement came after initial reports that several US military aircraft were damaged at Jordan’s Muafiq Al-Sulti Air Base as a result of Iranian counter-attacks.

CBS News correspondent Jennifer Jacobs quoted sources familiar with the situation as saying that several US military aircraft were damaged during the late-night attack.

A separate report quoted a US official as saying that an A-10 Thunderbolt II and eight F-15 fighter jets were damaged in Jordan.

According to reports, the F-15s sustained minor damage and were later returned to service.

This alleged attack was carried out in response to US forces targeting 5 Iranian crude oil tankers.

It should also be noted here that Trump’s denial about the damage to the planes is contradicted by the reports coming out from the American media and the American officials in which the American planes were claimed to be damaged at the Jordanian base.
