While most of our coverage of Netflix’s game library focuses on comings and goings (like new releases). Incoming game of conjuration), many of its library of nearly 100 titles regularly get quiet updates behind the scenes. Most of the time, these are routine, but titles like Netflix Playground regularly get expansions, and two other games have just been updated with tie-ins to some of Netflix’s biggest IPs.
Let’s break it down.
Kpop: Demon Hunters Comes to Toca Boca Junior

If you have kids, you’re probably already pretty familiar with Toca Boca Jr, the hugely popular sandbox app that has two entries in the Netflix game list, the most recent of which is Kitchen, Decline in July. The central premise of the games is to give younger players a colorful space to create, build and play. Now, the game gets a new coat of paint to tie it up Kpop: Demon Huntersthe most successful film on Netflix of all time.
The update brings a complete visual overhaul, with most stages and characters getting HUNTR/X-style easter eggs, including a menu music change featuring the Golden Path. Players can also cook some fun themed dishes for the girl group members by picking food from the refrigerator.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen it Kpop: Demon Hunters Tap Netflix Games. There’s a whole section in the Netflix Playground app, as well as the Overcooked version with some fun skins from the movie as well.
It’s a great way to keep fans engaged with the IP given that we’re still years away from a sequel, though Netflix is doing everything it can to keep it top of mind, including Netflix House expansions later this year as well as a concert coming very soon.
Strange things Solitaire takes over
Netflix Most played (Yes, to this day it’s #1 as we speak!) The classic mobile solitaire game is getting a major crossover of its own, courtesy of Hawkins, Indiana.
While Solitaire (developed by MobilityWare veterans) is usually a standard and relaxing card-stacking experience, this new game… Strange things The update brings Upside Down directly into your deck. Players can expect to customize their boards with themed backgrounds, unique card backgrounds featuring iconic images from the hit sci-fi series (think Hellfire Club logos, demogorgons, and retro 1980s aesthetics), and perhaps some creepy visual flair effects when you clear the board.
This isn’t your first time using Netflix Strange things In the list of games — titles such as Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Gameand previously Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales It’s already a fan favorite — but it’s great to see the main series subtly transition into casual puzzle games while we anxiously await the final season. We also saw the IP address used by Netflix Mini golf game Among other titles in the past.
