In this advanced era, not only modern things are coming to the fore, but Google is also adding new options to its drives. In this regard, Google Drive has introduced a video editing feature.

Google recently introduced automatic captioning, visual redesign, instant playback for newly updated videos, time-stamped transcripts and a YouTube-like thumbnail preview feature to its cloud storage platform.

Users of the Workspace domain will soon be able to see a purple Google Woods icon in the upper right hand corner when playing a video in Drive. Clicking this icon will open the video in Google Woods and users will be able to trim it, add media like music, add text overlay and more.

After the editing is done, a Woods file is created, after which the user has to save or export the file separately. This feature will only work on MP4, QuickTime, OGG and WebM videos that are less than 35 minutes in duration and 4GB in size.
