In the Sindh High Court, a hearing was held on the request to dismiss the case of former project director Zameer Abbasi in the case of alleged corruption in the Yellow Line project.

The court issued a written order on the application and expressed its displeasure over the investigation not being completed and the challan not being presented yet. He also raised questions about the lack of progress in the investigation process.

The Sindh High Court issued a show cause notice to the Chairman Anti-Corruption, the court sought an explanation from the Chairman Anti-Corruption.

The order said that the record had been perused in the formal inquiry before the FIR, no acceptable explanation was given for the undue delay in the investigation, in view of the delay in submission of challan showing gross negligence.

It has been further said that by deliberately delaying the investigation, an attempt is being made to benefit the accused. Chairman NAB explain why the Chairman NAB should not be sent to investigate the matter?
