The tri-series between Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Women’s Under-19 teams has been announced.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) says that the matches of the Tri-Party Series consisting of T20 matches format will be played from October 2 to 16 in Faisalabad.

In the series, 10 T20 matches will be played at Iqbal Stadium for which Sri Lanka U-19 squad 28 while Bangladesh U-19 team will reach Pakistan on September 29.

For the Women’s U19 Asia Cup and World Cup preparations, the tri-series format is triple round robin. Each team will play six T20 matches, with the top two teams playing in the final on October 16. All the matches in the series will start at 10 am.

The 20-member Pakistan Women’s Under-19 team for the series has also been announced. Faiza Fayaz will be the captain of Pakistan Women’s Under-19 team.

Batters Qamrush Farhan, Pakiza Shabbir, Malaika Sahani and off-spinner Afsheen Khan have been selected for the first time in the team.

Pakistan Women’s Under-19 team will start training camp from Wednesday at Boranwala Ground and Iqbal Stadium. The Under-19 teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will train at the Iqbal Stadium on September 29, 30 and October 1.
