Famous Bollywood musician Amal Malik and his brother Armaan Malik have clashed with Salman Khan Films and trolls over not being given credit.
According to Indian media reports, the controversy started when Salman Khan Films shared a post on the 11th anniversary of the 2015 film Hero.
The post also had a link to the film’s song ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’, the caption of which did not include the name of original creator Amal Malik and lyricist Kumar.
Amal strongly protested this and slammed the page management for their irresponsible behavior, after which the post was edited to include her name.
After this, social media users criticized both the singer brothers for their ungrateful attitude towards Salman Khan films.
Armaan Malik came forward in support of his brother and responded to the trolls and said, “Don’t teach us gratitude, gratitude does not mean that a person does not raise his voice for his legitimate right and credit for his hard work.”
He added that he is grateful for the start of his career but has worked hard to reach this point and it is important to speak up for himself.
Amal Malik is the son of Dabu Malik and nephew of singer Anwar Malik, who started his film career in 2014 with Salman Khan’s film ‘Jay Ho’.
