A legal notice of Rs 500 crore has been issued in the case of the death of late Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salyan.

According to Indian media reports, Disha Salyan’s father Satish Salyan has demanded Rs 500 crore from Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader and former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

The notice alleged that the two leaders tried to make Satish Salian’s quest for justice politically motivated.

In the notice, Satish Salian has also demanded an unconditional, unequivocal and unreserved written and public apology.

28-year-old Disha Salyan died on June 8, 2020, after falling from a high-rise residential building in Mumbai.

The police filed an Accidental Death Report (ADR) declaring the incident an accidental death, six days after the incident, actor Sushant Singh Rajput also died mysteriously.

A few days later, Disha’s father approached the Bombay High Court seeking registration of an FIR and fresh investigation.

The petition sought an investigation into the allegations leveled against several individuals, including Aditya Thackeray, Dino Maurya and Suraj Pancholi.

After 6 years, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken over the investigation into the matter.

Meanwhile, Aditya Thackeray denied any relationship with Disha Salyan.

This statement came two days after the CBI included his name in the FIR of the case.
