State Bank of Pakistan has released the details regarding workers remittance.

In August, Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia sent $87.35 million, while Pakistanis living in the United Arab Emirates sent $74.98 million.

According to the State Bank, 56.37 million dollars were sent from the United Kingdom and 30.89 million dollars from the United States.

In the first 2 months of this financial year, workers’ remittances from Dubai increased by 35% over the same period of the previous financial year.

According to the State Bank, despite the war in the Middle East, workers’ remittances remained 15% higher in 2 months.
