Former Pakistan cricket team batsman Muhammad Yousuf warned against the technical flaws of the national team’s batsmen and said that ‘they should learn to bat before it is too late’.

Pakistan team was bowled out for 133 runs in their first innings due to the poor performance of the batsmen on the first day of the Birmingham Test against England.

Criticizing Pakistan’s batting, Muhammad Yousuf said that ‘the batsmen kept changing their position before the ball came, due to which they could not judge the line and length of the ball correctly’.

Muhammad Yusuf said that if the batsmen keep opening their chests before the ball and keep going back and forth, they cannot judge the line and length and consequently play shots away from the body.

The former batsman said that the only sentence that can be said about Pakistan’s batting today is ‘learn before it’s too late’.

It should be noted that in the first match, the Green Caps were defeated by an innings and 103 runs, while in the second match, they were defeated by a huge margin of 194 runs.

It should be remembered that Muhammad Yusuf had commented on the Pakistani batting line earlier and said that the poor technique of Pakistani players has now been badly exposed from Bangladesh to England.

He said that the flaws which could have been corrected many years ago, due to their neglect, have now become a clear weakness of Pakistan cricket and the national team is facing difficulties at the global level.
