MDIMF Kristalina Georgieva met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in which ongoing reforms in Pakistan were discussed.

IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said in a statement on the social media website that she had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, and discussed the ongoing reforms in Pakistan.

The managing director of the IMF said that strong implementation of reforms has helped maintain economic stability, restore confidence and re-access Pakistan to the global market.

Kristalina Georgieva said that continuing the reforms will increase economic growth and help improve people’s living standards.
