The funeral prayers of the soldiers of Pakistan Army martyred in the exchange of fire with Khawarij in Hangu were performed in Peshawar.

According to ISPR, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Corps Commander Peshawar, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, relatives of martyrs and senior civil and military officials participated in the funeral prayer.

6 soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred in the exchange of fire with Khawarij in Hangu.

The martyrs include Captain Abuzar Farooq, Lieutenant Shiraz Babar, Sepoy Shakeel Ahmed, Sepoy Hamza, Sepoy Mohammad Usman Aziz and non-combatant Ghulam Sajjad.

According to ISPR, the bodies of the martyrs have been sent to their native areas, where they will be buried with full military honours.

The ISPR says that the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs for the defense of the homeland further strengthens the unwavering resolve of the security forces.
