Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that The number of digital users in Pakistan has crossed 15 crores.

Addressing the Economic Forum in the federal capital, he has said that the use of data has increased by 25% in 2 years and fiber connections in Pakistan have increased to more than 5 million.

Ahsan Iqbal has said that the target is to bring wired broadband to 1 crore households, the gender gap in mobile internet usage in Pakistan has reduced to 8% and the rate of women’s mobile internet usage has reached 45%.

He said that the involvement of women in digital development is inevitable.

The federal planning minister has said that now the next target is the promotion of technology products, digital platforms and technology-based industries.
