A complete ban was imposed on the issuance of new arms licenses across Sindh.

The spokesperson of Sindh Interior Minister has said that a complete ban has been imposed on the issuance of new arms dealership license. The ban will be effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.

The spokesman said that no licensing authority will be able to issue new arms licences, new arms dealership licenses will not be issued either.

According to the spokesperson of Sindh Interior Minister, issuance of arms license will be allowed in unusual and special cases, prior approval of competent authority will be mandatory in special cases.

The spokesman said that according to the rules and regulations, the approval of the Sindh Interior Minister and the Sindh Chief Minister will be required.

The spokesperson said that all the concerned licensing authorities have been directed to strictly implement the decision.
